Certified Nursing Assistant – Pediatric PACU & Pre‑Op (PRN)

About the role
The Pediatric PACU & Pre‑Op team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work PRN days, 2‑4 days per week, Monday‑Friday. This part‑time role supports registered nurses in delivering high‑quality care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery and recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
- Collect laboratory specimens as directed.
- Monitor and record patient intake and output.
- Document care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Perform other duties assigned by the RN or supervisor.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license (as required by the department).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment under RN supervision.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
