Chief Information Officer & Executive Director (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

ACE Money Transfer IE Ltd is seeking a senior technology leader to serve as both Chief Information Officer and Executive Director. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will sit on the Executive Committee and be accountable for the company’s IT strategy, operational resilience, cybersecurity, and technology risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic IT leadership to the Board and Executive Committee on technology risk, digital resilience and IT investment.
• Oversee the outsourced IT model, ensuring service levels, regulatory obligations and risk standards are met.
• Maintain a robust IT risk management and governance framework, including ICT risk, incident classification, reporting and business continuity planning.
• Lead the digital operational resilience programme, including ICT resilience testing, disaster recovery planning and crisis management in line with DORA.
• Define the cybersecurity posture, oversee security operations, incident response and ensure material incidents are reported as required.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in information technology leadership, preferably within a regulated financial services environment.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DORA, GDPR, CBI IT governance guidance and EBA ICT risk guidelines.
• Proven ability to govern outsourced IT arrangements and manage technology risk at board level.
• Strong communication skills to convey technology strategy to senior stakeholders, partners and regulators.
