Class 1 Driver – Days

About the role

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join its European transport network. You will operate a modern fleet, delivering chilled, produce and ambient goods to customer premises while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain customer signatures on all delivery notes.
• Follow all road transport regulations and European Drivers’ Hours rules.
• Deliver a variety of goods safely and on schedule.
• Record all activities accurately to meet legal and company standards.
• Secure loads according to safety guidelines.
• Work within the Working Time Directive requirements.

Required profile

• Full HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Tacho Card.
• Current CPC qualification.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service.
