Cleaner – Moate

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to join our team at Boylesports in Moate. You will help keep the betting shop clean, safe and welcoming for customers and staff, working outside of trading hours.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets and floors.
• Empty waste bins and replace liners.
• Maintain the cleanliness of betting terminals and gaming areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
• Lives within a commutable distance from the Moate store.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
