Client Director – Sponsorship

About the role

This position leads media sponsorship activity across multiple client accounts, acting as the primary contact for clients and internal media teams. It supports the Head of Media Sponsorship in building strong client relationships and delivering best‑in‑class sponsorship solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end media sponsorship projects, including briefing, negotiating, reporting and billing.
• Develop sponsorship rationales aligned with client business objectives and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Media, Investment, Channel Planning and other internal teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with media owners and stay informed on their properties.
• Analyse campaign performance data to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
• Lead client presentations, sponsor brief coordination and post‑campaign reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media campaign management with a track record of exceeding KPIs.
• Strong business and financial acumen, comfortable handling budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior colleagues.
• Self‑motivated, energetic, innovative and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Strategic thinker who can identify new revenue opportunities for clients.
