Client Services Accountant – Structured Finance

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a motivated Client Services Accountant to manage aviation and structured finance client portfolios across Ireland. You will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 30‑50 SPVs, delivering high‑quality accounting and regulatory services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all client deliverables and ensure compliance with corporate service agreements.
• Serve as the main contact for operational issue resolution and technical guidance.
• Review and approve accounting work prepared by offshore teams.
• Prepare and review periodic management accounts and financial statements.
• Draft accounting memos on topics such as going concern, impairment, and lease classification.
• Extract data from transaction documents for financial reporting.
• Liaise with auditors to plan and manage annual audits.
• Prepare and file tax and compliance returns (VAT, FATCA, CRS).
• Coordinate corporation tax filings with tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations (EMIR, CBI reporting).

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting experience, preferably within structured finance or aviation sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple SPV portfolios and maintain client relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
