Clinical Nurse Manager 1 – Fixed‑Term (Part‑time)

About the role

The Children’s Disability Network Team 6 is looking for a motivated Clinical Nurse Manager 1 on a fixed‑term, part‑time basis (30 hours per week). You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering specialist services to children and young people with complex intellectual disabilities in East Central Cork.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of clinical services for children and young people with complex disabilities.
• Collaborate with parents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure family‑centred care.
• Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and relevant regulations.
• Support and develop nursing staff, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings and service planning.

Required profile

• Registered on the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Minimum three years post‑registration nursing experience.
• Legal right to work in Ireland and valid employment permissions.
• Full clean driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
