Commercial Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Director to join a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed organisation in Dublin. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will shape and execute the commercial strategy for a major business unit, working closely with senior leadership and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
• Partner with sales leadership to enhance commercial performance, accountability and growth opportunities.
• Lead pricing strategy and margin optimisation initiatives.
• Evaluate significant commercial deals, challenge assumptions and ensure maximum commercial returns.
• Identify and execute revenue‑generation opportunities across the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Commercial Director, Head of Commercial, Commercial Finance Director or similar strategic commercial leadership role.
• Background in a large corporate, multinational or private‑equity‑backed environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue and profitability growth.
• Experience influencing sales leadership and shaping commercial strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to operate at executive level.
