Communications Manager – Public Health Capital Project

About the role
We are recruiting a Communications Manager on behalf of public health to lead communications for one of Ireland’s most significant healthcare capital projects. The role will shape the narrative around a landmark maternity healthcare programme and support its delivery across internal and external audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic internal and external communications.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with government, healthcare partners, the public and senior leadership.
- Prepare briefings, media responses and communications for senior executives.
- Support programme communications, change management and staff engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate media relations, digital content and programme updates.
- Monitor communications activity and provide strategic advice to programme leadership.
Required profile
- Level 8 qualification (or higher) in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Significant senior‑level experience in communications, public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
- Proven record of delivering communications campaigns in health, construction or related sectors.
