Community and Campaigns Officer

About the role
Epilepsy Ireland is seeking a self‑motivated Community and Campaigns Officer to lead and expand its fundraising campaigns. Working within a small, dynamic team, you will engage supporters, recruit new donors and deliver high‑impact community‑based initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of the organisation’s annual flagship fundraising campaigns.
- Develop and grow community‑focused fundraising activities and events.
- Recruit new supporters and maintain high standards of donor stewardship.
- Liaise with external fundraisers, respond to queries and promote Epilepsy Ireland to potential partners.
- Engage supporters through digital and community‑based campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to implement new fundraising initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall development of the fundraising function.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated and driven fundraiser with experience in community or campaign fundraising.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Passion for the charity sector and the mission of Epilepsy Ireland.

What we offer
- Permanent contract with a 6‑month probationary period.
- Salary €35,000‑€40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement (head‑office in Dublin).
- 35‑hour work week with some flexibility for evenings and weekends.
