Community Liaison Officer

About the role

GOAL is seeking a proactive Community Liaison Officer to support and grow its flagship community fundraising initiatives, including GOAL Mile, Jersey Day, and school‑based campaigns. The role will manage relationships with volunteers, schools and local stakeholders, ensuring a high‑quality supporter experience while contributing to income growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as main contact for 200+ community and school fundraisers, building and maintaining relationships to drive engagement, retention and income.
• Support planning and operational delivery of campaigns, liaise with schools and community groups, recruit new organisers and coordinate volunteers during peak periods.
• Manage supporter data in Microsoft 365 CRM, create targeted email journeys and integrate fundraising platforms.
• Oversee online fundraising platforms, promote Tap‑to‑Donate, assist with income reconciliation and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Required profile

• Experience working with schools, community groups and fundraising events.
• Volunteer management experience and knowledge of the Irish fundraising landscape.
• Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland and flexibility to work evenings/weekends.

Required skills

• CRM experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with online fundraising platforms and digital engagement tools.
