Complex Motor Claims Adjuster

About the role

The Complex Motor Claims Adjuster will manage key claims enquiries, determine coverage, analyse quantum and assess legal liability within authority limits, while delivering high‑standard customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex motor bodily injury and liability claims, ensuring accurate coverage determination and quantum analysis.
• Work with the Team Manager/Senior Adjuster to manage vendors and litigation on complex claims.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement through QA reviews.
• Maintain best‑practice procedures for liability complex claims in line with global standards.
• Control financial aspects by applying consistent reserve discipline and accurate policy interpretation.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in motor bodily injury/liability claims handling.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory and litigation requirements for the line of business.
• Proven ability to follow up on technical audit recommendations and improve claim handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time‑management, prioritisation and diary management.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to influence claims strategy.
• Track record of building relationships with clients and brokers.
