Compliance Specialist

About the role
The Compliance Specialist will support Abbott’s Diagnostic Division in Longford by ensuring that all components, materials and services meet the company’s quality standards. The role involves applying measurement, sampling and testing techniques to maintain consistent product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Review quality records, prepare reports and recommend improvements.
- Conduct inspections, verifications and validations of components and materials used in development processes.
- Identify and resolve recurring product‑quality or testing‑reliability issues.
- Document quality issues and track performance metrics for management review.
- Liaise with external vendors to support quality processes.
Required profile
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality‑assurance or compliance role.
- Ability to analyse quality standards and apply measurement techniques.
