Construction Operations Manager – Cork

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple window and door installation projects in Cork. This hands‑on role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to juggle several priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of staff, fostering high performance and a positive workplace.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule works to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, guaranteeing material availability.
• Liaise directly with customers, handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an operations or management role, preferably within construction.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of windows & doors installation and extensive carpentry/joinery experience.
