Content & Channels Manager

About the role

Primark is looking for a Content & Channels Manager to lead the strategy, creation and governance of internal digital communication channels. You will shape the global editorial calendar, ensure consistent brand voice, and drive engagement across the workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage internal digital channels such as the ZING app, Your Voice/Peakon, screens, email, and career sites, establishing governance and standards.
• Lead the global content strategy and editorial calendar, delivering audience‑first storytelling that supports business priorities.
• Embed consistent content formats, workflows and standards across markets while collaborating with Brand, HR, Digital and Sustainability teams.
• Analyse channel performance, UX, accessibility and adoption to continuously optimise content and investment decisions.
• Partner with internal platform owners and external stakeholders to align messaging and enhance the colleague communication experience.
• Develop and lead the Content & Channels team, building in‑house capability and reducing reliance on agencies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading digital content and channel strategies within a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to develop governance frameworks and content standards across multiple markets.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams such as Brand, HR, Digital and Sustainability.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics to improve channel performance and user experience.
• Leadership experience in building and developing high‑performing content teams.
