Country Manager – Ireland

About the role

As the Country Manager for Ireland, you will be the most senior Uber leader on the ground, responsible for the strategy, growth and profit & loss of Uber Mobility in the market. You will act as the public face of the business, driving expansion, partnerships and long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial performance of Uber’s Irish Mobility business, balancing ambitious growth with disciplined profitability.
• Define and execute Ireland’s mobility growth strategy, expanding into new cities and categories such as electric‑vehicle services.
• Build high‑impact local partnerships and ensure the marketplace is reliable, affordable and the preferred choice for riders and drivers.
• Provide timely, data‑driven market intelligence to regional leadership and lead crisis response coordination.
• Lead high‑stakes policy and government relationships, working across Operations, Legal, Marketing and Finance to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing local team, fostering a culture of ownership and ambition.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in strategy, operations, business development or consulting, with a proven senior‑level track record.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute bold growth strategies in fast‑moving, complex markets.
• Strong commercial instincts and data‑driven judgment for two‑sided marketplaces.
• Natural cross‑functional leader who influences through alignment and trust.
• Deep knowledge of the Irish market and its regulatory environment.
