Critical Reviewer – Remote (up to $70/hr)

About the role
Mercor is looking for a Critical Reviewer to help improve the quality of AI‑generated responses. This fully remote, contract position pays up to $70 per hour and involves independent, asynchronous work.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI‑generated answers for accuracy, depth of reasoning, and completeness.
- Provide structured written feedback that helps refine model outputs.
- Identify subtle nuances, implicit meanings, and gaps in AI‑generated content.
- Write clear, well‑evidenced rationales that go beyond surface‑level observations.
- Meet deadlines while working independently and asynchronously.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree from a top‑500 globally ranked university (preferred).
- Strong analytical and written communication abilities.
- Ability to follow detailed task guidelines and work autonomously.
- Excellent critical reading skills.
- Native English fluency.
