Customer Assistant – Permanent 25-30 hrs (Drumcondra)

About the role

Join Tesco’s Drumcondra store as a Customer Assistant, working 25‑30 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will be part of a team that offers a wide range of products, from groceries to clothing and financial services, while delivering the "Every Little Helps" experience to every shopper.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first in every interaction and provide friendly, proactive service.
• Maintain product availability on the shop floor and ensure items are handled with care.
• Keep the store and back‑of‑house areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Follow department routines, company policies, and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues in other departments when needed.

• Enthusiastic about delivering natural, high‑quality customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Presentable, tidy, and able to work well within a team.
