Customer Assistant – Wicklow

About the role

As a Customer Assistant at Lidl in Wicklow you will be part of a dynamic retail team delivering a great shopping experience. Working a standard 30‑hour week across morning, middle or late shifts, you will help keep the store stocked, clean and welcoming for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Operate tills, process transactions and minimise queue times.
• Stock shelves, prepare bakery items and ensure products are fresh and correctly rotated.
• Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow stock loss controls and assist with stock counts.
• Manage waste and adhere to freshness and rotation principles.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old (required to sell alcohol).
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong customer service focus.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player who is willing to go the extra mile for customers.
• Previous customer‑facing experience is a plus but not essential.
