About the role
We are looking for a Customer Care Representative to join a specialist veterinary diagnostics business in Gormanston. You will be the primary point of contact for veterinary clients, handling enquiries, coordinating service and supporting the sales process.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with veterinary clients.
- Coordinate service and repair activities with the technical team.
- Create sales opportunities and orders using SAP.
- Administer service contracts, especially for endoscopy equipment.
- Liaise with internal departments such as finance, marketing and operations.
- Maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
- Spend up to 10‑15% of time in the field alongside sales and service colleagues.
Required profile
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a technical or product‑focused environment.
- Experience supporting or working alongside sales teams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Veterinary experience is a plus but not mandatory.
