Customer Service Agent – Motor Claims (Temp to Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Agent to join our Motor Claims team in Dublin. The role focuses on handling First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, providing excellent service to policyholders, and guiding them through the initial claims process.

Key responsibilities

• Answer first‑contact calls from insured parties, claimants and third parties, both by phone and paper.
• Capture claim details accurately, ask probing questions and triage notifications.
• Enter data, allocate cases and collate information for the claims handling team.
• Promote network‑aligned services and send instructions to service providers.
• Liaise with internal experts for technical advice and issue relevant documentation.
• Engage directly with brokers, especially for Commercial Fleet policies.
• Maintain high‑quality data entry to minimise re‑work and ensure system integrity.
• Process and scan mail and claim‑related documents in a timely manner.
• Generate claim settlements and raise bordereaux as part of general administration.

Required profile

• Background in insurance, broking or claims (required).
• APA in Insurance or equivalent qualification.
• Strong IT literacy with experience using databases.
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to influence internally and externally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and team‑working abilities.
• Ability to stay focused and positive under pressure.
