Customer Service Assistant

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to keep the store running smoothly. The role involves handling bets, cash, and promoting the brand’s multi‑channel offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, process bets via EPOS system and betting terminals, and maintain accurate records.
• Guide and support the shop team, especially in the absence of senior managers.
• Maintain high presentation standards and ensure compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Introduce customers to in‑shop and online products, acting as a brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong integrity.
• Flexible to work 7 days a week and adapt to a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and cash‑handling skills.
• Enthusiastic, people‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in the sporting industry and a drive to progress within the company.
