Customer Service Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to deliver an outstanding experience to our customers in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will support the Shop Manager in daily operations, handle cash and bets, and act as a brand ambassador for our multi‑channel offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day shop operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, accept and process bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Guide the shop team in the absence of managers and support training initiatives.
• Introduce customers to in‑shop and online products and digital journeys.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong integrity.
• Flexible to work 7 days a week and adapt to a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in sports and betting, with a drive to progress within the company.

Required skills

• Experience with EPOS systems.
• Cash handling and cash‑management procedures.
• Operation of betting terminals.
