Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Dungloe)

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to keep the store running smoothly. The position involves handling bets, cash, and ensuring high standards of service and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, manage cash procedures and guide the team in the managers' absence.
• Accept and process customer bets via betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Promote the brand and introduce customers to multi‑channel and digital offerings.
• Maintain shop presentation standards and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong trust and integrity.
• Flexible to work 7 days a week and adapt to a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and cash‑handling skills.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in sports and betting, with a drive to progress within the company.
