Customer Service Representative – Maternity Leave Cover

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to cover a maternity‑leave period within Uniphar Group’s Supply Chain and Retail Division. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling calls, orders and queries while ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Process telephone, email and fax orders, including reps orders, credits and debits.
• Advise customers on product availability and delivery schedules.
• Log and resolve product or service queries using the CRM system, following up to confirm resolution.
• Assist customers with financial account queries.
• Highlight any order or process delays to the Team Leader or Manager.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs as set by management.
• Contribute to department objectives and suggest process improvements.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.

Required profile

• Professional with a proven track record in customer support.
• Proactive, analytical and pragmatic problem‑solver.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage customer expectations empathetically.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Experience with a CRM system (BCT).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
