Customer Service Representative – Road Logistics

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative in Road Logistics, you will deliver first‑class service to both internal and external customers. Acting as a vital link between customers, sales, and operations, you will help ensure smooth shipment handling and strengthen professional relationships across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with delivery and collection branches to schedule shipments.
• Proactively communicate with customers, providing timely updates.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries with a focus on first‑time resolution.
• Process shipments, organise special deliveries, and monitor domestic, import and export movements.
• Handle complaints, generate performance reports, and address service discrepancies.
• Upsell value‑added services to maximise revenue.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout the organisation.
• Validate customs documents and liaise between the customs team and customers.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and relationship‑building capability.
• Previous experience in customer service or logistics is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
