About the role
The Customs and Logistics Coordinator will be based on‑site in Cork and will manage the day‑to‑day movement of goods through customs and freight channels. Working closely with customers, carriers and customs agents, the role ensures fast, compliant and cost‑effective transport of cargo worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all required customs documentation for import and export shipments.
- Track, trace and monitor cargo status, providing timely updates to clients.
- Liaise with internal branches, external agents and carriers to resolve issues and guarantee service quality.
- Identify the most profitable shipping modes while meeting customer requirements.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required profile
- Strong analytical ability to interpret shipment data and logistics KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers, customs authorities and internal teams.
- Proven customer‑service mindset, able to work under pressure.
- Experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding or multimodal logistics operations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of customs documentation and EU/UK import‑export regulations.
- Familiarity with customs and logistics software platforms.
- Proficiency with standard office applications.
