Cyber Security Specialist – Operations & Resilience

About the role

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is seeking qualified Cyber Security Specialists to join its Operations and Resilience/Compliance teams in Dublin. Specialists will support national cyber incident response, threat intelligence collection, malware and forensic analysis, and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, sustain and develop NCSC’s cyber security monitoring, malware analysis and forensic functions.
• Prepare for, respond to and investigate national cyber security incidents.
• Collect, analyse and distribute cyber threat intelligence (CTI) and maintain threat intelligence platforms.
• Plan and manage technical projects, produce technical reports and coordinate national, EU and international activities, including cyber exercises.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national, EU and international peers and stakeholders.
• Participate in cyber security working groups to support information sharing and best practice.
• Report to the relevant Principal Cyber Security Specialist (Principal Officer).
