Data Centre Security Officer – Clonee

About the role

Join Securitas Security Services as a Data Centre Security Officer, providing 24/7 protection for personnel, property and equipment at our Clonee site. You will be the front line of safety, ensuring a secure environment for all visitors, employees and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine security patrols, monitoring CCTV, door alarms and access points.
• Maintain civil order during emergencies and report any health and safety threats immediately.
• Control access by issuing and managing badges, verifying authorisations and supervising escorted entries.
• Conduct detailed report writing, lost‑and‑found duties and other back‑office security tasks.
• Support daily Method of Procedure (MOP) activities and coordinate with supervised escorts.

Required profile

• Relevant security background with appropriate licensing and certificates as required by local legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and a courteous, professional manner.
• Strong reception and customer‑service abilities.
• Full flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
