Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to develop, train, and optimize AI models for a leading technology company. The role involves evaluating model performance, refining reward models, and collaborating with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct systematic evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results.
• Rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for evaluation outcomes.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Solid experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases using analytical reasoning.
• Strong debugging skills and capability to produce thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent written communication to articulate reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
