Data Steward – Reverse Logistics

About the role

The Data Steward will support the Re:Cycle Reverse Logistics Operations team, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across global warehouse management systems. Working with 400+ users in four facilities, the role drives data quality, compliance, and performance reporting for millions of monthly transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness of system data both inside and outside the application.
• Develop and enforce data standards, policies, procedures, and governance strategies.
• Perform regular data quality assessments, create scorecards and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third‑party service providers to understand data requirements and resolve issues.
• Use SQL to query, extract, and analyse data for business needs.
• Generate and present data performance metrics and visual reports to leadership.
• Provide training and support on data‑related topics.
• Manage ticket queues, prioritize work, and support system development initiatives.
• Facilitate migration of legacy data and test new data in development environments.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, analytical and self‑driven.
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and external partners.
• Ability to audit, root‑cause, and remediate data issues.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, data‑intensive environments.

Required skills

• SQL for data querying and analysis.
