Day Support Facilitator

About the role

Corlann is seeking a motivated Day Support Facilitator to join its team in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. You will work directly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities, helping them enjoy a fulfilling daily life through tailored programmes and activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver day‑time schemes of work and learning programmes in line with national guidelines.
• Plan, prepare and adapt resources to meet the individual needs and abilities of each person supported.
• Monitor, record and report progress, adjusting activities as required.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Stay updated on best practices, new resources and methods in disability support.

Required profile

• Positive attitude towards working with people with intellectual disabilities.
• Commitment to promoting wellbeing and independence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Relevant third‑level qualification (minimum Level 7/Ordinary Degree) or equivalent experience in nursing, teaching, psychology, social work, etc.
