Delivery & Installation Driver (3.5T)

About the role

The Sofa Delivery Company is looking for motivated individuals to join its two‑person delivery teams, transporting and installing sofas and other furniture for DFS and Sofology customers. You will work on a rotating schedule, delivering 10‑15 items per day and ensuring a professional experience for each client.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and install furniture safely in customers' homes, handling heavy items and navigating stairs and tight spaces.
• Communicate with customers before arrival to confirm delivery times and locations.
• Place items in the requested rooms and remove any packaging waste.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report any defects.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence (maximum 6 points) – no prior experience required.
• Physical fitness to lift and move heavy furniture.
• Professional attitude and strong customer service focus.

Required skills

• Apollo route planning software (or similar routing tools).
