Design Engineer – Structural Design (2 positions)

About the role

We are looking for two Design Engineers to join Egis’ engineering division in Ireland. The role involves delivering structural design and analysis for a variety of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, safety standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for transport, water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, drawings and design calculations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to review construction progress and verify design implementation.
• Communicate project updates and technical information to stakeholders and clients.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in structural design and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
