DevOps Engineer

About the role

Brightflag is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help shape and maintain the infrastructure that powers its AI‑first legal technology platform. The role offers flexible work arrangements across Ireland, allowing you to work from the office, remotely, or a blend of both.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment scripts, and configuration‑management tools.
• Implement observability solutions to monitor performance, detect issues, and optimise systems.
• Continuously improve scalability, reliability, and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Work with the security team to ensure compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java or C# and scripting with Python or Bash.
• Solid experience with Linux operating systems.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD concepts and tools such as AWS CodeBuild, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands‑on experience with build tools like Maven, Make, or npm.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure principles.
