DevOps Solution Architect

About the role

The DevOps Solution Architect will design and deliver scalable, secure, high‑performing solutions for BOI across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, and enterprise architecture, as well as the ability to present solutions to governance forums.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end architecture and technical solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Analyze the existing BOI landscape across on‑premises and cloud platforms and define integration strategies between legacy systems and modern cloud architectures.
• Design and implement solutions using AWS services, optimizing for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise.
• Apply containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
• Implement security architecture, controls, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Create high‑quality documentation and PowerPoint presentations to communicate architecture and solutions.
• Present solutions in architecture governance forums (e.g., Architecture Review Board, Cloud/Data/Design Authority) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in DevOps architecture and cloud‑native solutions.
• Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture patterns.
• Hands‑on expertise with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Solid understanding of security architecture and controls.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in enterprise‑scale, hybrid environments.
