Digital & Social Media Executive (B2C Retail Content)

About the role

We are seeking a Digital & Social Media Executive to drive the digital voice of a national Irish retail brand. This content‑first role will involve travelling across the country to capture authentic stories, product highlights and community initiatives that showcase the brand’s presence in over 100 stores.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engaging photography, graphics and short‑form video (Reels/TikToks) that highlight products and store activity.
• Own the end‑to‑end social media calendar, scheduling and community engagement across all brand channels.
• Travel nationwide to capture “real‑life” content from staff expertise to local community projects.
• Support national retail promotions and seasonal trading through email marketing and paid social campaigns.
• Collaborate with local store owners and external partners to ensure digital activity aligns with brand identity.

Required profile

• Full Irish driving licence – essential for frequent travel to stores.
• 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media.
• Experience in a retail or trade environment is a distinct advantage.
• Third‑level qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
• Strong visual eye and copywriting ability; video editing experience is a plus.
