Director, Designated Person for Fund Risk (PCF‑39C)

About the role

PGIM is looking for an experienced professional to serve as the Designated Person for Fund Risk (PCF‑39C) in Dublin. The role is responsible for ensuring that all funds and investment mandates operate within the firm’s risk framework and comply with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an effective framework for fund risk oversight and ensure compliance with CP86, UCITS and AIFMD regulations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day fund risk management, monitoring credit, liquidity and counterparty risk across the full suite of funds and IPM mandates.
• Review monthly reports from investment managers, investigate issues, and escalate material breaches to senior management and the Board.
• Collaborate with the Operational Risk Designated Person to manage the risk register, risk appetite and related policies.
• Conduct due‑diligence visits to investment managers and report findings to the Board.
• Participate in CP86 working group discussions and provide written fund risk reports on a monthly basis.
• Support quarterly Board meetings with risk updates and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund risk oversight within a UCITS/AIFMD environment.
• Strong knowledge of CP86, UCITS and AIFMD regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret fund offering documents, internal risk limits and regulatory limits.
• Excellent analytical, communication and escalation skills.
