Director, Financial Operations & Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Financial Operations & Accounting to lead our Accounting and Reporting teams. The position can be based in either Helsinki, Finland or Dublin, Ireland, and will oversee external reporting, treasury, audit, compliance, and billing functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve accounting processes in line with Local GAAP, FAS, and IFRS.
• Manage the monthly and annual financial close, including consolidations, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash management, source‑to‑pay, accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and all relevant financial regulations.
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain strong financial controls.
• Drive digital transformation of the accounting function, automating manual tasks with AI‑enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with FP&A, RevOps, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to provide financial insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance, accounting, or FinOps teams at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and international tax compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing global finance teams.
• Experience managing treasury, audit, and regulatory reporting functions.
