Director, Financial Reporting - Asset Servicing

About the role

The Director, Financial Reporting will lead the delivery of fund financial reporting services for a global asset servicing organisation. Based in Dublin, this senior leader will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance and drive operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of international investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Financial Reporting function, overseeing annual and semi‑annual financial statements for a broad range of fund structures.
• Lead and develop senior managers and high‑performing reporting teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex accounting, regulatory, audit and client matters.
• Ensure technical oversight and governance across IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and other relevant frameworks.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with investment managers, fund boards, auditors, regulators and other key stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence through process enhancement, automation and technology‑enabled transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to business strategy, new client onboarding and product expansion.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience within fund administration, asset servicing or financial reporting.
• 12+ years of experience in funds, asset management or financial services with strong client‑facing exposure.
• Deep technical expertise in investment fund accounting and reporting, including IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale reporting functions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
