Director, Forma Industry Strategy

About the role

Autodesk is seeking a Director to shape the strategy and go‑to‑market direction of the Forma Industry Cloud, a next‑generation platform that transforms how the built environment is designed, delivered, and operated. You will lead a growing strategy team, partner with product, sales, marketing and customer success, and act as the primary evangelist for Forma both inside and outside the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall strategy for the Forma Industry Cloud, setting priorities for investment and differentiation.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative market, customer and competitive data into clear strategic recommendations.
• Guide decisions on pricing, packaging, portfolio clarity and adoption pathways.
• Build frameworks, briefs and presentations that enable senior leadership to make confident decisions.
• Represent Forma at industry events, with customers and partners, sharing success stories and gathering feedback.
• Collaborate closely with the Forma design product team to influence the product roadmap.
• Align Forma’s strategy with Autodesk’s broader Industry Cloud vision.

Required profile

• Proven strategic thinker with experience shaping product and GTM strategies for cloud‑based solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with both qualitative insights and quantitative data.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence senior leaders across multiple functions and regions.
• Willingness to work across European and US time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high‑performing strategy team.
