Director of Business Services

About the role

As Director of Business Services you will join a semi‑state utility operator in Dublin, leading Transformation & Central PMO, Supply Chain and Facilities & Property. The role is permanent and operates under a hybrid work model, supporting the company’s ambition to drive Ireland’s low‑carbon transition.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Transformation, Central PMO, Supply Chain and Facilities & Property to ensure high performance and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Develop and implement an integrated business services model that drives continuous improvement, transformation discipline and delivery excellence.
• Oversee procurement, sourcing, supplier management and commercial governance, building strategic supply‑chain capability and managing risk.
• Lead facilities and property functions, ensuring effective management of assets and services.
• Establish robust governance, performance measurement and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex, regulated or infrastructure‑intensive environment.
• Proven track record of leading multifunctional business services teams, including transformation delivery, PMO, supply chain, procurement and facilities management.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision‑making and people‑leadership capabilities.
• Deep understanding of governance, compliance, controls and risk management.
