Director of Credit & Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Global Director of Credit and Accounts Receivable will lead the Collections function across multiple geographies, reporting to the Senior Director of Order‑to‑Cash. Based in Dublin with a hybrid working model, this senior leader will shape technology‑driven strategies to manage the full collections lifecycle while ensuring SOX compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, tech‑enabled collections strategies for early, mid and late‑stage delinquency.
• Oversee end‑to‑end collections processes, including payment reminders, delinquency management, bankruptcy handling and account suspension.
• Partner with revenue management to align credit risk assessment and compliance procedures.
• Develop proactive credit strategies to identify and remediate portfolio hot‑spots.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, workflow redesign and real‑time performance dashboards.
• Manage and coach a global collections team, using analytics and behavioral insights to boost recovery rates and customer experience.
• Create reporting dashboards and KPIs to provide visibility, track trends and support executive decisions.
• Collaborate with the Marketplace OTC team to streamline billing, collection and cash application processes.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive experience in global Accounts Receivable, credit and collections.
• At least 10 years in a leadership role overseeing large, multi‑site teams.
• Deep knowledge of Order‑to‑Cash processes, including cash application and billing within the technology sector.
• Proven track record of leading OTC transformation projects.
• Strong judgment in escalated account handling, policy interpretation and exception processing.

Required skills

• Experience with technology‑driven collections platforms and automation tools.
• Proficiency in developing and monitoring SOX‑compliant processes.
• Ability to build and interpret performance dashboards and KPIs.
