Director Planning Transformation

About the role

We are partnering with a global consumer goods organization to find a Director of Planning Transformation. This 1.5‑year fixed‑term role will lead the digital overhaul of planning processes across Europe, focusing on the deployment of the o9 platform, AI/ML capabilities, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end digital transformation of planning, covering demand forecasting, supply, inventory, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Own implementation, scaling, and integration of the o9 advanced planning solution with global ERP and data platforms.
• Drive AI/ML‑enabled innovations such as demand sensing, autonomous planning, and scenario modelling.
• Partner with data, IT, and business teams to strengthen data foundations and enable real‑time analytics.
• Define and execute the digital roadmap for supply‑chain planning across Europe.
• Act as a digital champion, fostering user adoption and building capability.
• Build and lead a high‑performing team of solution owners, data engineers, and transformation leads.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in supply‑chain, digital transformation, or planning systems leadership, preferably in CPG.
• Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end transformation in complex matrix organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and change‑leadership skills.
• Experience working across Europe with cultural agility; multilingual ability is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with o9 implementation (preferred).
• Familiarity with Kinaxis, SAP IBP, or similar advanced planning tools.
• AI/ML application in planning, including demand sensing, forecasting, segmentation, and MLOps.
• Enterprise data architecture, governance, data lakes, and planning tool integration.
