Director, Product Marketing

About the role

ESW is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to shape the narrative around its global commerce solutions. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this senior position sits at the crossroads of product, sales, and marketing, turning complex product capabilities into compelling buyer messages.

Key responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for ESW’s product portfolio, ensuring clarity and relevance for target buyers.
• Drive alignment across product, sales, client success, and marketing to guarantee consistent adoption of messaging.
• Lead go‑to‑market strategy for new products and major updates, coordinating impactful launches.
• Partner with product teams by providing market insight, buyer intelligence, and competitive context.
• Build and maintain deep market and competitive intelligence to inform positioning and differentiation.
• Define and evolve ideal customer profiles and buyer personas across regions and verticals.
• Develop sales enablement assets such as pitch decks, battle cards, and case studies in close collaboration with sales.
• Lead product launches and campaigns end‑to‑end with demand generation, content, and digital teams to drive pipeline.
• Define success metrics for product marketing and work with marketing operations to track performance.

Required profile

• Extensive product marketing experience at a senior level, with a proven record of owning positioning, sales enablement, and product launches.
• Experience in ecommerce or cross‑border commerce is a plus; strong curiosity and ability to become fluent quickly.
• Exceptional ability to simplify complex market dynamics into buyer‑centric messaging.
• Balanced strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
• Collaborative, trust‑building style with product, sales, and senior leadership.
• Analytical rigor, making data‑driven decisions and extracting signal from noise.
