Director, Regional Supply Chain – Europe

About the role

BioMarin is seeking a senior leader to direct end‑to‑end supply chain operations across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Regional Supply Chain, the Director will ensure secure, compliant, and agile delivery of commercial and clinical products throughout a multi‑market region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Europe‑wide supply chain strategy aligned with global objectives and commercial growth.
• Lead regional demand and supply planning, distribution, logistics, and S&OP governance.
• Drive market product launch readiness, inventory strategy, and risk/continuity planning.
• Partner with Commercial, Technical Operations, Quality, Finance, Regulatory and external partners to maintain high service levels.
• Provide hands‑on operational oversight while influencing cross‑functional matrix teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
• Proven leadership in a cross‑functional, matrix environment.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
