Duty Supervisor – Dublin Airport Operations

About the role

As a Duty Supervisor at Dublin Airport, you will lead the day‑to‑day airport operations on your shift, ensuring that all passenger and aircraft handling activities meet safety, security, quality and customer service standards. You will coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver smooth and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise airport operations, overseeing team and service provider performance.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, including arrival and departure documentation and reporting.
• Make operational decisions to manage and mitigate safety and security risks during the shift.
• Identify and report safety and security occurrences in line with company procedures.
• Oversee passenger and aircraft handling, adhering to checklists, brand standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage VIP, MAAS, PRM and special guest requirements, including assessment, planning and coordination.
• Liaise with Guest Control, Network Control and SOC to recover from operational disruptions.
• Deliver and rehearse emergency response, disruption, diversion and business continuity plans.
• Monitor on‑time performance, coordinate mitigation actions and report delays.
• Promote ancillary sales, monitor process compliance and achieve related targets.
• Track and report on customer service standards and related KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education (A‑level or baccalaureate equivalent) or equivalent industry experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in service, hospitality, airline or retail environments, with knowledge of aviation or airport policies.
• Previous supervisory experience in a high‑pressure, multicultural shift environment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a guest‑centric focus.
• Ability to balance corporate interests with safety and security standards.
