Engineering Manager – Mechanical & Electrical Assets

About the role

The Engineering Manager – Mechanical & Electrical Assets will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the strategic management of M&E assets at a major industrial site in Dublin. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on optimizing asset performance, cost, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans for mechanical and electrical assets.
• Control, monitor and optimise operational and maintenance costs, risks and performance across asset lifecycles.
• Coordinate readiness, operational requirements and standards for new assets.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary technical team.
• Foster a high‑performance culture through people‑focused strategies.
• Ensure assets are fit for purpose, safe, reliable and meet all regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong people‑leadership and team‑development experience.
• Relevant third‑level engineering qualification (degree qualified engineer).
