Engineering Technician 3 – Front End Night Shift

About the role

Dexcom is seeking an Engineering Technician 3 to join its Front End Night Shift team. The position will support equipment engineers in the improvement, installation, validation, and transfer of custom automated equipment used for scaling up manufacturing of Dexcom products.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written specifications to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting.
• Test performance of electro‑mechanical assemblies using dedicated test equipment.
• Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyze and record test results, preparing clear documentation.
• Conduct operational testing and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional deployment teams and external suppliers to meet equipment specifications and timelines.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in equipment testing and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical skills for fault isolation and data recording.
• Effective communication for documenting results and coordinating with teams.
