English Second Language Teacher (Ages 3‑16) – China

About the role

English 1 is seeking enthusiastic ESL teachers to join its network of schools in China. You will work with young learners aged 3‑16, delivering high‑energy, interactive English lessons while immersing yourself in Chinese culture.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to children and early teens using English 1’s award‑winning curriculum and digital tools.
• Design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that promote language acquisition.
• Monitor student progress, record assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and clean background check.
• Genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange.
• ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus; sponsorship available.
